1) The existence of 23 million anti-personnel landmines in the Egyptian lands threatening almost 23 million possible victims that might be killed or injured if those mines were left in our lands without eradicating them or at least surrounding them with signs to keep the innocents away from danger.  
 
2) Egypt losses about 689699 faddans of its agriculture lands (presenting 10% of total agriculture land in Egypt) because of landmines. Moreover landmines are real obstacles facing the economical development in the northern coast and eastern coast of Egypt. 
 
3) The sum of the victims of anti-personnel landmines in Egypt is approximately 7923 (3200 killed and 4723 handicapped) in the last 20 years. Landmines accidentally exploded in 93% of the victims. 
 
4) The non-existence of clear accurate maps of the landmines places. The problem is that information concerning these landmines should be updated because their places changes according to natural changes e.g. the weather, storms etc. 
 
5) The non-existence of a specialized first aid center in the near-by areas affected by landmines.  
 
6) The absence of vocational training programs for the victims. 
 
7) The lack if essential information that should provided to the inhabitants in these areas.  
 
8) The non-existence of specific legal mechanism for aiding the victims get their legal rights. 
 
9) The absence of Egypt from the international programs aiding countries suffering from the problem.
